Routine Maintenance is an often forgotten integral part of IT Infrastructure, or can be recognised but pushed down the priority list and never get done.
Many events can be prevented by performing routine maintenance on your IT Systems and Infrastructure.
Archetype IT offers 2 type of Routine Maintenance; Major and Minor.
Minor Maintenance encompasses primarily workstations and how they interact with your Server.
Major Maintenance encompasses extended support for workstations and support for servers
Maintenance is available on a 12 Month fixed term plan.
Performing Minor Maintenance:
Minor maintenance is performed either monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly.
Minor Maintenance is performed during Business Hours (9am-5pm).
When performing a minor maintenance, IT Support Staff will need to have access to all workstations located within the office.
Archetype IT understands the need for workstations to be accessible during business hours, so an IT Support Staff Member will contact you prior to attending onsite to arrange a convenient time to perform this maintenance.
Performing Major Maintenance:
Major maintenance is performed either quarterly, half-annually or annually.
Major Maintenance is performed outside of business hours (Sat, Sun, Friday Evenings).
When performing a major maintenance, IT Support Staff will need to have access to all workstations and servers located within the office.
During major maintenance periods, the server will in most cases be taken off-line in order to test backups, perform full virus scans, complete critical software updates etc.
This is to minimise impact to customers while maintenance is performed.
An IT Support Staff Member will contact you prior to attending onsite to arrange a convenient time to perform this maintenance.
